My uncle was shot down in World War 2 over NAZI Germany, in a B17 Flying Fortress named Smokey Stover Jr. Not the B29 Superfortress Smokey Stover in History Channel's Foo Fighter UFO TV show on Project Bluebook, but same nose art.

The fire photo was a double centerford published in Italy's AUTOSPRINT magazine. The heading translates as "I have decided to set myself on fire, but not for very long."
